Job Summary
- The Shift-in-Charge will oversee and manage daily PET preform production operations, including Injection and Blow Moulding.
- The role is responsible for supervising shift teams, ensuring production targets are achieved, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate PET preform production activities (Injection & Blow Moulding) during assigned shifts.
- Lead and manage manpower to ensure production goals are consistently met.
- Monitor production efficiency, quality, and output through routine checks and reporting.
- Plan and oversee mould changes, preventive maintenance of machines, moulds, and utilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production breakdowns.
- Enforce adherence to safety, compliance, and quality assurance standards.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and performance among production staff.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and process optimisation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in PET Preform Injection and Blow Moulding operations.
- Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting and machine handling.
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a shift-based system.
